A crossdressers life is full of choices and as time marches on mature crossdresser choices can become more important. I like to think about it in terms of each decade being a chapter in my crossdressing life. The first chapter ages 1 to 10 being pretty much carefree doing little boy stuff until around 6 or 7 when I became fascinated with women’s clothing but had no idea why just like every young crossdresser. For most of us the next ten years ages 11 to 20 were pretty exiting as we learned more about crossdressing along with guilt, lying in addition to sneaking around. The only choices were whether or not to indulge our passion or hold off a little longer before caving in and doing it. The last half of this chapter is where the second choice of telling someone typically presents itself such as a girlfriend or potential wife.
The direction of the next four chapters depends on if the crossdresser gets married and if so has he told the wife. If he has and she is accepting choices are easier to make and when it comes to kids it is easier to conceal. If he does not tell the wife the next four chapters will be far more stressful because every choice he makes has the potential to ruin the marriage. Opportunities are fewer because you live under the same roof so letting the genie out of the bottle is less frequent.
The crossdresser who never marries has only themselves to worry about so the next four chapters for them are pretty simple. They can keep the secret until death or chose to tell certain people like family, friends, and possibly employer.
MATURE CROSSDRESSER CHOICES
Married crossdressers with children can experience an opportunity usually around the halfway point of chapter 4 which is when the kids have moved out. They are around 45 years old typically with the empty nest creating some opportunities. The wife who knows is more at ease now and many times participates in crossdressing activities especially when other wives are involved. The crossdresser who has not told the wife won’t see any new opportunities. Everything remains constant unless they get caught by the wife and one of 3 things happen.
1. She divorces him.
2. She demands he stop.
3. She accepts it.
Fast forward to chapter six and beyond and the mature crossdresser choices can increase because of life changes. At age 60 and above retirement is either here or on the horizon so mature crossdressing choices can take many forms. I will start with the negative one first which is the wife has passed leaving the crossdresser without the boundaries they once dealt with. Left to their own devices they can now soar if they want with literally know restrictions. The mature crossdresser choice here is do they maintain their crossdresser lifestyle the same only with more freedom or take a more daring approach. Should she go with tube tops, mini skirts, and platform heels or the more conservative route?
I think that in the final stages of our lives we are set in our ways and won’t do anything drastic. Some mature crossdressers might want to go full time and live as a woman at this stage because in some cases the wife is gone or because the kids are adults they do not care anymore. Most I think will just crossdress a bit more often and leave it at that.
